Thank God for lasting friendships! :) Ang galing nito, we didn't plan these shots pero saktong sakto... same mga positions, nag palit lang ang 2 bride! funny pa, medyo same mga color and print ng clothes namin. :D

I heard this from the local news last night.  I didn't know that there are pageants for brides too.  Yey! Ms. Philippines won. Happy, happy, happy!!! :)

It is Talit's surprise shower party! Family and friends gathered at the Calibre Studio at LRI Plaza to shower The Bride-To-Be before the wedding day. 

Surprise Surprise!

To keep the party a surprise, I had to come up with an excuse to bring Talit to the shower party.  Best thing that came to mind was to invite her to dinner to introduce a "friend".  She agreed to dinner and asked Paul (who is another accomplice to the surprise) to come as well.

On the other side of the story, Tita Matet (Talit's Mom) arranged a "surprise birthday party" for Talit's favorite cousin-Ate Jeng.  It was really Ate Jeng's birthday, but she gave way for Talit's shower party. With no questions asked, Talit said she will go.

So everything was arranged.  Talit kept bugging me who this "friend" is.  Up to the last minute, I had to come up with all the excuses and lies to keep her from getting a hint.  It came up to the point where I have to ask a friend to call her up and pretend to be the "friend" she was supposed to meet. 

Without a clue, we managed to bring her to LRI, where the surprise happend!

The best part I loved most was when Talit's Papa George and Papa Jack gave their advices to Talit.  It was a very touching moment.  Next to that was the advice given by Tita Matet.

Wacky Wacky!

Funniest moment was when Tito Juscel, instead of giving advice, told everyone about some of the not-so-nice habits of Talit.  Buking na buking si Talit! hehehe.

It was a fun-filled night!  We all enjoyed!  The best part it, we successfully surprised Talit and she had a great evening with people who loves her so much.


Great job, Chai for planning all of this!  I missed doing weddings with you.

BTS: Talit and Paul's Invitations

Busy, busy, busy!  This is the best word that describes the last 3 weeks before the wedding and the reason why I haven't been able to write anything here.  We're tying loose ends now and sometimes more loose ends just keeps popping up out of nowhere. hehehe. That's ok though, there's nothing that The Great Author of love stories can't take care of.  :) 

Just a quick update, invitations are finally out.  We started distribution last week and there are people who already confirmed their attendance to the wedding! Yey! :)
